David Starr to Return to Tri-Star Motorsports in 2016!

NASCAR Veteran David Starr will return to Tri-Star Motorsports in 2016. Starr, who has raced in all three of NASCAR's major divisions, has been with Tri-Star since 2014 driving the #44 and #10. Starr will make his 75th Start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series next month at Daytona with Tri-Star Motorsports but with a downsizing team. Starr's former teammate Blake Koch is now with the newly formed Kaulig Racing and Eric McClure will be making his season start with JD Motorsports. The Zachry Group will return to the #44 Toyota Camry in
2016 with an amazing looking paint scheme as you can see to the right! We look forward to seeing David have a successful 2016 and who knows he could land in the chase in 2016! (Koelle,2016)

JD Motorsports Announces Driver Lineup

JD Motorsports announced their 2016 campaign of Drivers which includes the return of Ross Chastain. 2016 Is looking promising for the JD Motorsports group as they grasp the reality of how they did in 2015 and in 2016 if one driver wins the at least one of the seasons first 26 races then that driver will be in the inaugural Xfinity Series Chase for the Xfinity Series title. With this lineup JD Motorsports is for sure to have at least one of these drivers in the Chase!
Joining Chastain at JD Motorsports is Xfintiy Series Rookie Ryan Preece who drove for Premium Motorsports in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in the later races of the 2016 season. Preece is also the 2013 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Series Champion while being runner up in 2012, 2014, and last season! Ryan Preece can certainly wheel a vehicle with four wheels and I certainly expect nothing less in 2016 with JD Motorsports. Ryan will make his 4th Start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Daytona next month.
Series Veteran Eric McClure will join JD Motorsports to drive the team's #0 Chevrolet in the season-
opener Feb. 20 at Daytona International Speedway. Todd Myers will be crew chief. Reynolds Wrap will be McClure's sponsor. JDM plans to field the #0 cars throughout the season and is actively pursuing driver/sponsor partnerships going forward. With this lineup going into Daytona expect much success with this team and drivers maybe even having one in the Final Four come Homestead. (Koelle,2016)

BK Racing Announces 2 Drivers for 2016

BK Racing revealed today their 2 newest drivers! David Ragan will join the organization for 2016 while Matt DiBenedetto will return to the team in 2016. No word on if JJ Yeley or Jeb Burton will either share the 3rd car or if either will return to the team in 2016. Jeb Burton noted on Twitter that he was working on his plans for the 2016 season.
David Ragan is coming off a wild 2016 where he drove a total of 3 different rides. Starting in Daytona with Front Row Motorsports, Atlanta through Talladega in Kyle Busch's #18, and beginning at Kansas and ending with the Organization at Homestead in Michael Waltrip Racing's #55 entry. David's best finish in 2016 was behind the wheel of Kyle Busch's #18 at Martinsville where he finished 5th.
After making his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut at Phoenix with BK Racing, Matt DiBenedetto landed the #83 team in The Rookie of The Year Chase against Brett Moffitt where he finished runner up. Matt had a very successful season and will return with the organization in 2016 with Veteran teammate David Ragan. Look for Ragan and DiBenedetto to work together come 2016 and see some excellent racing out of the BK Racing camp in 2016! (Koelle,2016)
