California Superman Wins Auto Club 400!

After a late race caution brought out after Kyle Busch blew a tire from the 2nd position it set up the perfect run for Jimmie Johnson to steal yet another win from Kevin Harvick. A rugged track surface caused many tire issues today and it's not a good thing either for drivers like Ryan Blaney who fell in the points. 2 hard crashes highlighted the race which included Kyle Larson in the first and Danica Patrick in the second crash. Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr, rounded out the Top 5. With the win today Jimmie Johnson has officially past Dale Earnhardt Sr. on the All Time Wins List.

NASCAR News Source Driver of The Week

This weekend it was tough to chose the Driver of The Week but after thoroughly going through the Finishing order I have decided the most deserving driver who has not won one of these yet had to be Ricky Stenhouse Jr. A great run for the Roush Fenway Racing driver today finishing 5th, A much needed break for the 2011 and 2012 NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion and as Ricky moves on to tracks he has been rather good at as of late expect to see Stenhouse at the top of the finishing order in the near future! I expect a W at Bristol.
