First Practice Report of 2016

As many know the Can-Am Duels are tomorrow evening and today teams went on track to see how fast their cars will be in the Duels among the Daytona 500 this Sunday.
One major accident occurred in 2nd practice when the #95 Chevrolet SS of Ty Dillon had a parts failure which caused his car to spew oil onto the track, that caused the #40 of Reed Sorenson to begin breaking which caused the #83 of Michael Waltrip run into the rear of Ryan Newman's #31. In practice #2 Michael McDowell became the first driver to reach over 200 mph in all practices that have been ran.

Can-Am Duels Starting Lineup - More Details

Tomorrow night we will set up the Starting Lineup for the 58th Annual Daytona 500 with an ole fashion Duel. Can-Am Duel to be exact. Along with setting the Starting Lineup we will also decide whose dreams will continue and whose dreams will be shattered. For some making the Daytona 500 will be rather easy if they are not already locked in but for others it could be a challenge. One of the best NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races will be raced Friday night. Excitement, High Speeds, among many other aspects that makes this race one of the best races of the season. Normally a huge wreck will occur if there is only one. With 43 cars on the entry list only 32 will make it which like the NASCAR Xfinity Series Race will certainly make Qualifying just that much more important to squeeze out that one great lap to land you in the perfect starting spot or just in the race where everyone has a chance to win.

Powershares QQQ 300 Entry List

On Saturday the NASCAR Xfinity Series will begin its season in Sunny Daytona. The sophomore season of the Xfinity Entitlement Sponsor. In Daytona NASCAR has began it's season for many many years and well it's no exception in 2016. With the new Daytona Rising being complete it's proven that Names can be made here in the Xfinity Series. With a large 48 car Entry List with only 40 cars making it, Qualifying will ultimately be important in numerous aspects. Also this season the driver who wins the Powershares QQQ 300 if he is an Xfinity Series regular will qualify for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Chase.

John Cena Named Honorary Pace Car Driver for Sunday's Daytona 500

One of the WWE's most popular Superstars will lead Chase Elliott and Matt Kenseth on the pace laps come Sunday Afternoon. The 15 time WWE Champion will be the driver of the pace car at the begining of the 58th Annual Daytona 500 at the Daytona International Speedway. John Cena has had much connections with NASCAR over the years becoming friends with numerous drivers including Carl Edwards and Joey Logano.
