Koch posts Career Best Finish Going into Talladega

Before this weekend Blake Koch's best finish was 9th at Daytona earlier this season. Success continues to roll on for the Kaulig Racing #11 and Blake Koch as he pushed his way into an 8th place finish at Richmond today. Blake Koch has been impressing everyone including the fans. Blake has been showing his true colors as of late and I think a win is just around the horizon for Blake Koch! Blake, has been a NASCAR Xfinity Series regular now for 8 years and I feel this is the season where Blake could grab his first victory and it could happen at this weekends race in Talladega. Talladega has been a good race for drivers like these and Blake's second best career start came at Daytona earlier this season, A track like Talladega.  Blake Koch best finish at Talladega was a 16th in 2011. Blake will surely be a threat to win at Talladega and that is why he will be our pick of the week! We hope to get a word with Blake Koch this weekend and to meet his team owner! *Credit Kaulig Racing Facebook for Photos*(Koelle,2016)

Kevin Harvick Gains Pole via Rain Out

Throughout the day Friday in Richmond rain fell from the sky but we had enough time to get in one practice. NASCAR Revealed that the days action was over and would be cancelled. The Xfinity Series would run a practice instead of having qualifying this morning. This also cancelled Sprint Cup Qualifying and set the field by Practice speeds. Kevin Harvick had the fastest car and will lead the field to green tomorrow afternoon! Since 41 cars were entered 1 car went home. That would be the #98 of Cole Whitt as he was the slowest of the open drivers in practice.
