Leavine Family Racing - Proof Of Sponsorship Loyalty, 2016 Sponsorship Opportunity Available

If you are looking for a team that has had a sponsorship be loyal to them over the past few years look
no further than Leavine Family Racing and Driver Michael McDowell. For Eight years McDowell has raced in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, 2 of those years at Leavine Family Racing. When Michael Joined LFR he had left a ride at the Phil Parsons Racing where he started and parked majority of the seasons while at PPR. When McDowell moved to Leavine at the end of 2013, K-Love, a sponsor that has followed
McDowell most places he has been including racing for Joe Gibbs Racing's Xfinity Series Team. K- Love Radio, a Radio Station that Broadcasts contemporary Christian music to affiliate radio stations. Features news stories, concerts, events and Internet audio stream, has been with McDowell now for 4 years. Despite not taking K-Love to victory lane over the 4 years, K-Love has been loyal to McDowell and McDowell has continued to be a great spokesperson for K-Love. In 2014 McDowell encouraged another sponsor to jump on board. Starting at Bristol in 2014 Thrivent Financial became the newest primary sponsor in NASCAR. Thrivent
Financial, Offers financial guidance and create financial strategies for Christians in all stages of life, began with McDowell and Leavine Family Racing in a season that was successful in many ways. In that debut Race for Thrivent at Bristol, McDowell brought the #95 Ford Fusion home in the 18th Place. In 2015 Thrivent would return to the #95 for 10 races as a primary sponsor and 10 races as an associate.
In 2015 McDowell made the Daytona 500 and even finished 1st in one of the Practices for the Daytona 500. McDowell continued a consecutive run after run with both Thrivent and K-Love on the Car. Despite running a limited schedule and missing races due to Rain problems McDowell continued to make gains on and off the track working with the Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent along with being a guest at the Inaugural Camp 95 with Trevor Bayne, In 2014 and 15' McDowell had a total of  7 sponsors. His best finish came at Daytona in 2014 where he finished 7th in the Rain Shortened Coke Zero 400. In 2016 Michael McDowell and Leavine Family Racing are looking for more support to help them go full time with Alliance Partner Wood Brothers Racing. If you want to help please send an email to Don Smyle, Director Marketing & Partnerships at Leavine Family Racing. His email is This is certainly one team that will help get your brand exposure on one of the
fastest Rolling Billboards. NASCAR is growing to be one of the most popular Motorsports in the United States of America and is seen all over the world. There are 36 races on the Sprint Cup schedule: twenty-six in the regular season and 10 post-season. That means that if you help a team go full time you have more than 36 opportunities plus practice time and qualifying to help get your brand's name on Fox Sports or NBC Sports Television Programing. It is certainly one sport to seek an investing oppurtunity as it continues to grow. (Koelle, 2016)

Ray Black Jr. - 5th At Daytona Highlights Amazing 2015

When the checkered flag fell in Homestead the flag fell on Ray Black Jr.'s 30th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Start. 2015 was a season that had many successes for Ray in many different series. A full season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, his first full season, and one start at Texas in the NASCAR Xfinity Series driving for Rick Ware Racing. Ray landed 11th in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2015 with an average finish of 17th. For a Rookie in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series that is an impressive feat and certainly not something to over look in 2016. Ray began the season in the #07 Chevrolet Silverado for SS Green Light Racing, a team he ran for in 2014 in 7 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Races. With Backing from Scuba Life, a web-based network connecting professional dive instructors and water sport enthusiasts with retailers, hotels and restaurants.A sponsor that has been with Ray all throughout his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career. In 2015
Ray proved to them that he could drive a truck very well beginning in Daytona. Yes that is Ray Black Jr. on the bottom of a Four Wide race coming to the Checker Flag in Daytona at the beginning of the year. That wild move not only was a nominee for The NASCAR News Source OMG Moment of The Year but also landed Ray his first Top 5 in his career. During the weekend in Daytona I had the opportunity to meet Ray Black Jr. A very nice guy and an even better racer in my opinion. I again met Ray in Bristol where he remembered who I was and I gave him a signed article I did about him on the ole' Low Money Team Source. From Daytona Ray stayed consistently inside the Top 20 with only two DNF's. That resulted in an 11th place in the points. At Texas Ray got the call to get the chance to drive an Xfinity Series car for the first time in his career. Though it was only one time in 2015 Ray will certainly be seen somewhere in the Xfinity Series for more starts in 2016. As for 2016 and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series we are unaware of what Ray will be doing. We hope to
see him back behind the wheel of the #07 SS Greenlight Racing. If Ray does return to SS Green Light Racing in 2016 certainly expect Ray to be right back in the swing of things and may even snag a win in the season opener in Daytona. (Koelle, 2016)
