Rico Abreu Completes Thor-Sport Lineup!

NASCAR is full of new driver announcements today and well this one is no surprise. Rico Abreu and Thor Sport Racing revealed today that they would be teaming together for the 2016 Season. Rico will be behind the wheel of the #98 Toyota Tundra entry for Thor Sport Racing. This means that he will be replacing Johnny Sauter as Sauter moves onto the newly rejuvenated GMS Racing along with Spencer Gallagher and Grant Enfinger. Rico will have Matt Crafton and Ben Rhodes as teammates which makes Thor Sport certainly one team to watch in 2016. It is unclear on if Cameron Hayley will run a fourth truck for the team or if he is job searching for 2016. It is possible that NTS Motorsports could grab Hayley if Cabinets By Hayley follows Cameron in 2016. That would be just what the doctor ordered to help NTS stay afloat. (Koelle,2016)

Ray Black Jr. Going Full Time Xfinity Racing in 2016

Great news came out of the SS Green Light Racing team today as Ray Black Jr. will make the jump from the Camping World Truck Series to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2016. After a very successful season in the NCWTS Ray will look to continue that momentum into 2016 with the same team he did so well with in 2015. Ray will run a full season with SS Green Light Racing with sponsorship from Scuba Life. We really look forward to seeing Ray Black Jr. in the Xfinity Series full time in 2016. We know he will do very well and heck he could end up in victory lane sometime this season! Maybe Daytona? He finished fifth there in February last season in the Trucks. (Koelle,2016)

Loves Truck Stops Will Sponsor Chris Buescher

At the beginning of 2014 Love's Truck Stops joined Front Row Motorsports and David Gilliland. After the announcement of David Gilliland's departure from Front Row Motorsports many thought Love's had followed him. That was shot down today as Front Row Motorsports revealed that Love's would return to Front Row in 2016 with Chris Buescher for 18 races. This could make it difficult for David to find a ride now but I predict a full ride or at least a partial
return to the #92 Truck Team.
More about Love's Truck Stops. Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is a family-owned chain of more than 350 travel stops and convenience stores located in 40 states. These stores are Fast. Clean. Friendly. If you see one of these be sure to stop by and thank them for sponsoring a NASCAR Team! (Koelle,2016)

AJ Fike will race 15 ARCA Racing Races in 2016

AJ Fike announced that he will run 15 ARCA Racing Races in 2016. AJ won last year in Springfield and will look to win some more races this season. AJ will return to the RFMS Racing team for 2016. AJ Fike drove in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2005 for Mike Curb. He has also raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series once in 2003 and another in 2004. Since then we have seen AJ in the ARCA Racing Series where last season he won his first career race behind the wheel of the #27 Don Fike Owned Car. We look forward to seeing AJ back behind the wheel for more races in 2016! (Koelle,2016)
