Timothy Peters Earns First Victory Since 2015 in Fr8Auctions 250 as Two Drivers Eliminated from Playoffs
TALLADEGA, Al. - Timothy Peters survived the chaos of the Talladega Superspeedway and made an interesting move, in the end, spinning Noah Gragson putting the final caution of the afternoon out which ultimately handed Peters the victory.
In what could be his final truck start for a while, Peters was able to show his worth by winning his first race since Phoenix in 2015. The victory also marked his first Truck Series victory in a Chevrolet.
Myatt Snider earned his career-best finish of second while David Gilliland, Justin Haley, and Wendell Chavous rounded out the top-five. Grant Enfinger led the most laps during the race but got turned by David Gilliland late in the race and relegated him to a 19th place finish.

Despite finishing sixth, Stewart Friesen was in too much of a hole and found himself eliminated from the playoffs. Kentucky winner Ben Rhodes ended up not having the day he needed and ended the race on the outside of the playoff cutoff line and was eliminated from the playoffs also.
The Series takes this weekend off and then heads to the Martinsville Speedway to kick off the second round of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs. The winner of Martinsville will become the first driver to punch his ticket to the Championship Four at Homestead.
