Christian Eckes Set for Full-Time ARCA Schedule in 2019

Christian Eckes will be going full-time ARCA Racing in 2019 officials from Venturini Motorsports confirmed. The 17-year old driver from Middletown, NY has made a total of 27 starts in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards with three victories, 10 top five's, and 18 top-10 finishes. Eckes made his ARCA debut at Nashville Fairgrounds in 2016 where he finished an impressive eighth-place finish. Eckes picked up his first career victory at Salem earlier this season while also picking up victories at Springfield and Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis.

“This is an exciting and incredible opportunity,” said Eckes in the team release. “Coming back to Venturini Motorsports to compete for a championship and running under the Toyota banner is a dream come true and a result of a lot of hard work the last few years. It’s a proud moment.

“I have a ton of confidence in this organization to be able to come out next year and run at the highest level. We’ve already achieved a lot of success together, but I believe the best is yet to come. This is a tight group with a ton of heart and desire to succeed. I’m truly humbled. I can’t thank everyone enough who’s helped me get to this point in my career. Venturini Motorsports and Toyota have played significant roles the last few years. Chances like this don’t come along easily. My commitment level has never been higher.”

Eckes is slated to make his third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start on Saturday (October 27th) at the Martinsville Speedway with Kyle Busch Motorsports. Along with those starts, he has three starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, 10 starts in the CARS Super Late Model Tour, and 12 starts in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour.
