CONCORD, N.C. - Chase Briscoe led 33 of the races 55 laps on Saturday, September 29th to secure his first career XFINITY Series victory. Briscoe had to hold off a few hard chargers late including Justin Marks, Austin Cindric, and Daniel Hemric but was able to hold off all challengers to put his name in the record books as the first ever NASCAR driver to win on the Charlotte ROVAL.
Justin Marks, in his second to final NASCAR start, finished second for the third career top-five finish of his career. Austin Cindric finished third leading the charge for the playoff drivers while Ryan Preece and Christopher Bell rounded out the top-five.
The race was rather calm, unlike what many were expecting. Five cautions highlighted the event with two-stage ending cautions, one accident involving the No.'s 5,3,11,60,90,8, one for a stalled Alex Labbe, and the final caution came after debris came off of the No. 39 of Ryan Sieg, who was involved in an accident previously.
