The NASCAR XFINITY Series heads to the Kentucky Speedway on Friday for the ALSCO 300. It'll be the 18th running of the event. It's the fourth season that this race has been run in July as it used to run during mid-June. Kevin Harvick won the inaugural event at Kentucky in 2001 but will not defend that victory on Friday.
Speaking defending race winner, Kyle Busch is the only driver entered in Friday's event. Busch is chasing more victories in the XFINITY Series as he's chasing victory No. 200 overall.
