Tyler Reddick Secures Second Straight Top-10 in LTi Printing 250

Tyler Reddick had another strong run behind the wheel of the No. 9 for JR Motorsports on Saturday in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Following a rough race at Charlotte, two straight top-10 finishes help put the No. 9 back on track as the XFINITY Series heads to Iowa Speedway. But Reddick feels a lot was left on the table due to the race being shortened.

“I wish we could’ve ran this race to the end because we had a really fast Nationwide Children’s Hospital Chevrolet today," said Reddick. "My guys on this JR Motorsports team worked really hard during practice yesterday and we made some good gains heading into today. It’s unfortunate that the rain couldn’t hold off until the end of the race but we had a good run back toward the front in the end and we will build off of this heading into next weekend in Iowa.”

Reddick raced in both Iowa Speedway events last season with the best finish of third in the June race. Reddick finished 36th in the second Iowa race while he started 15th in both of those races. Reddick is currently fourth in XFINITY Series points with one victory at Daytona in February. Reddick also has three starts in the NCWTS at Iowa. In all three of those starts, Reddick finished inside the top-10. (Koelle,2018)
