"When I’m up on stage, I don’t feel removed from the people,” said Uncle Kracker in the track release. “It’s very interactive. It’s meant to be a party, and I want everybody involved. Each time we go on stage, I want people to leave smiling.”
Kracker made his first appearance as a DJ in Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker band. Following that he went on to a solo career. In 2001, Kracker made his debut with the No. 1 song "Follow Me". "In a Little While", "Smile", and his 2003 cover of Dobie Gray's classic "Drift Away," all became top hits in the world of music. Kracker's "My Hometown," was featured in the soundtrack of Activision's NASCAR The Game: Inside Line that was released in 2012.
Accompanying Uncle Kracker will be NASCAR fan favorite Tim Duggar and locally known DJ Mark A.D. from nearby Birmingham, Alabama. The show is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. CDT and will take place at the intersection of Eastboga and Talladega Blvds. in the infield. Admission to this great concert will be free with a ticket to Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500.
If you haven't yet purchased your tickets for the May Talladega Superspeedway race weekend, head on over to www.TalladegaSuperspeedway.com or dial-up 855-518-RACE (7223).
The Motorsports News Source suggests the two-day ticket package that starts at just $60.00 ($100.00 for the higher up seats). With that deal, you can get a ticket to both Saturday's XFINITY Series and Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race. With that Cup race ticket, you get entry into the Uncle Kracker concert and you get Free Camping (no-hookups). Where else can you get that killer of a deal? (Koelle,2018)
