The caution came out with a little over 20 laps remaining after Brad Keselowski, the winner of both stage one and two, blew a left front tire and smacked the outside wall. The extra set of tires that Goodyear gifted teams had just arrived late in that green flag run. Larson led the field down pit road and ultimately won the race off.
He started on the outside and got a stellar push from Stenhouse to put him in the lead. Stenhouse had a super fast car before the caution came out for Keselowski's blown tire. Stenhouse used the bumper to take over the lead but Larson would quickly get it back as Stenhouse began to fall off. Busch began ticking off the lead that Larson had and with five laps remaining, Busch took the lead and never looked back earning his 45th career victory in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
The caution came out a total of 13 times for 114 laps. The red flag was displayed a total of three times during the race, once for accident cleanup and the other two for weather. Kyle Busch continues to lead the points standings followed by Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, and Brad Keselowski.
