Kyle Busch to Max Out Appearances in Camping World Truck Series in 2018

NASCAR implemented new participation rules for the 2018 Camping World Truck Series limiting the number of races Cup drivers can race to five, down from seven in 2017. One of the first Cup drivers to reveal his schedule, Kyle Busch will run five races in 2018, two races in the No. 4 and three races behind the No. 51.

Textron Aviation products Cessna and Beechcraft will be promoted on Busch's truck and enters his 16th season in the Camping World Truck Series where he will be chasing two records. Busch sits second on the all-time winner's list in the NCWTS, second to NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductee Ron Hornaday Jr., Busch is only two victories away from tying the record. Should Busch win the first two starts of the season, He can tie the record at his home track in Las Vegas.

"Our partnership with Textron Aviation and the Cessna and Beechcraft brands got off to a great start last year with two trips to victory lane and we have our sights set higher this year," Busch said in the team release. "There are a couple of really cool things happening with my truck schedule this year -- two of my races will be in the No. 4 Tundra, which was the number on my first Legends car back at the Bullring, and I'll also be racing a truck at Las Vegas for the first time since 2001. It's always fun to race in my hometown and it's the only active track on the Truck Series schedule where I've made a start and haven't visited victory lane -- so hopefully we can change that in March."

On top of chasing the all-time win lead, Busch is also chasing history by tying "The King" Richard Petty with 200 victories in NASCAR. He currently has 182 victories combined in all three series with his most victories coming in the NASCAR XFINITY Series with 91.

His NCWTS season debut comes at Atlanta in February where he will pilot the No. 4 entry. Busch will also drive the No. 4 at Kansas in May also. Busch will make his debut in the No. 51 at Las Vegas in March, the first truck race ever in the month of March. Busch will also drive the No. 51 at Charlotte in May and Pocono in July.
