Poole Will Return to CGR in 2017

Brennan Poole will rejoin the organization in 2017 with DC Solar returning. Veteran Xfinity Series Crew Chief Chad Norris will remain on the Pit Pox.
Poole competed full time in 2016 finishing 8th in final NASCAR Xfinity Series points. Homestead was Poole's 50th Start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. His best career finish came at Talladega and Road America where he finished 3rd. At Talladega, Poole crossed the finish line first but that caution had already flown ending the race with Elliott Sadler in the lead. Poole finished runner up to Erik Jones for the 2016 Rookie of the Year. Poole has shown great consistency this season completing 99.2% of the laps and having an average start of 13th and average finish of 12th.
Poole will seek his first career victory in 2017 while also looking to gain Chip Ganassi Racing it's first Xfinity Series Championship, Reed Sorenson finished 4th in points in 2005 which was the best points finish by an Xfinity Series driver. Poole is the first driver to race a full time campaign for CGR since Reed Sorenson last ran in 2006. (Koelle,2016)
