The truck unloaded with a fresh new look of black, white, green and blue which is something that should've stuck in the minds of both fans watching at home and the fans in the stands at the Phoenix International Raceway. In first practice, Bryce was 31st on the speed charts which for a Rookie at Phoenix is pretty good. He did better than some veterans in the other series who smacked the wall.
In second practice, Bryce was out to get the feeling of the track and did so by turning enough laps to land on the Ten Lap Average leader board where he sat 4th out of 5 drivers. His team made adjustments and got prepared to go turn some laps in qualifying.
His previous best start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was a 32nd. Today that number would be beaten. Not by much but it would still be beaten which shows improvement in a rookie driver or just a driver finding the different tracks that fit him better than the previous tracks of Martinsville and Bristol.

In three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Starts, Bryce was able to accomplish some big things including racing at The Last Great Coliseum in Bristol Tennessee, The Paperclip in Martinsville Virginia, and Phoenix International Raceway in Phoenix Arizona. In three races Bryce had a 31st place average start and a 25th place average finish. It's some good momentum to take into the 2017 Season if you ask me and Phoenix especially looks good for the kid from Scotts Valley California.
