In yet another dominating performance, Martin Truex Jr. won his fourth race of the season and second of his career at Dover. Truex gained his first win in 2007 at Dover almost 10 years ago now the Mayetta, New Jersey native gains his 7th career victory. Only 6 cars finished on the lead lap with Truex basically pacing the field. Truex capitalized on a late race mistake by Jimmie Johnson to take the lead and remain the leader till the end. Kyle Busch finished second leading 102 laps, Chase Elliott finished 3rd, while Brad Keselowski and Matt Kenseth rounded out the Top-5. Surprisingly Kyle Larson has been eliminated from the chase along with Jamie McMurray, Tony Stewart, and Chris Buescher. Now the field is down to 12.

Next Race for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
"Just when you think it's all over It's where it all starts"
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Charlotte for the final Saturday Night Race of the 2016 Season and Just when you think it's all over, it's where it all starts! Yes that is a line from the 3 Doors Down Song "In the Dark", They will be doing the pre-race concert next weekend and that line is true. For some the sleepless nights are over and for others it's just starting especially with Talladega looming around the corner. It'll be interesting to see how drivers approach Charlotte to not land themselves in a deep hole heading to Kansas or even worse heading to Talladega.
