In an eventful finish John Hunter Nemechek gained his 2nd victory of 2016 but not without controversy. As Cole Custer entered the final turn he was the leader but John Hunter Nemechek pushed Custer out of the way and it sent both into outside wall as a side by side finish in the grass with a photo finish happening between John Hunter Nemechek and Custer. As both crossed the finish line in the Grass Hemric passed the line in third on the asphalt and at first was declared the winner of the Chevrolet Silverado 250, but after a few minutes and a brawl between Cole Custer and John Hunter Nemechek, John was declared the winner. Cole Custer finishes second, Austin Cindric third, Daniel Hemric, Matt Crafton, and Christopher Bell rounded out the Top-5.
