The Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada native made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut on the familiar dirt racing surface at Eldora in July. Stewart started 12th. This made Stewart a pretty well know person gaining his #16 Halmar International Chevrolet Siverado much television time and some attention from the Fox Sports crew. During the race Stewart raced up and down but was involved in a crash sending the driver home with a 28th place finish.

Stewart then made his Concrete debut on the high banks at Bristol Motor Speedway in August impressing many in just his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start by qualifying into the second round and keeping the #16 from going home. Stewart qualified in the 23rd position and stayed around that position the whole race bringing the #16 home in the 22nd position.
This weekend, Stewart Friesen looks to continue his momentum he's had off of Eldora and Bristol in his 3rd start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire.
Stewart reminds me of what the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was like when I first starting watching it. Drivers who you'd have to look up online after the race to hear who they are and what their background is and that is what made me and makes me enjoy the Truck Series. Stewart is slated to run a few more races this season and hopefully the 2017 word will come into the vocabulary for Stewart but for now we want to see Stewart keep his momentum going and to make his average finish drops or consistency comes out and Stewart lands another Top-20 on Saturday Afternoon. Thanks to Brenda Meserve and Image81.com for getting us these images of Stewart!(Koelle,2016)
