Denny Hamlin Gains Pole at Richmond

Denny Hamlin continued Joe Gibbs Racing's Richmond dominance with winning the pole at his home track, Richmond International Raceway. Kyle Larson will start alongside with Hamlin's teammate Matt Kenseth starting 3rd. Chase Bubble driver Jamie McMurray will start fourth while Kurt Busch gains yet another Top-5 starting spot. Chris Buescher has dug himself a hole starting in the 31st starting position and needing to pull off a big one today but it's possible. Ryan Newman is another person with a shovel. After a post race inspection failure, Newman is now holding 15 less points than he did after last Sunday's Southern 500. Here is the starting lineup for tonight's Federated Auto Parts 400.
