Pocono the First Rain Shortened Race Since Phoenix in 2015 on NBC

When it comes to Monday's race on NBCSN, it's not the first rain shortened race since NBC rejoined the sport in July of 2015 but it's the first since 2015 where Dale Earnhardt Jr. won at Phoenix in November. Since that race in Phoenix, there hasn't been one rain shortened race up until Pocono last weekend. We have had a few rain delays which isn't anything out of the ordinary. There has been 21 races since our last rain shortened race which is a number I would like to see after this race which would mean the next race that would be shortened would be the STP 500 at Martinsville in 2017. I personally hate rain delays and know you the fans hate them also. Having 21 races since our last rain shortened races has to make you the fans happy because you can feel a little more confident that NASCAR is willing to work as hard as possible to get the race in for you the fans!
