Logano Goes Back-To-Back Poles at Michigan

Joey Logano won his 3rd pole of 2016 and pulled a clean sweep of the Michigan Poles. Joey Logano was able to pull yet another Michigan pole and a stat that Logano has in his arsenal at Michigan is that every time he has started on the pole at Michigan (2013 & 2016) he would go on to win his race and even though he is locked into the chase he still wants to win so that he can move on up the chase grid. Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, and Chase Elliott rounded out the Top-5. Alex Bowman, whose filling in for Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start 6th while Ryan Blaney will start 7th.
