Darlington Throwback Weekend 2016 will mark the return of the iconic rocket red Chevrolet driven to victory twice by Derrike Cope during the 1990 Cup season for the Whitcomb Racing Team. To The Point Custom Apparel is partnering with Derrike Cope Racing with JP Motorsports as the primary sponsor for this event. Cope's Daytona 500 victory was followed up at Dover later in the season. Twenty-six years later, Cope is the first competitor to drive his own throwback scheme. As part of their primary sponsorship, To The Point Apparel has outfitted the DCR crew throughout the 2016 season and will be featuring special throwback uniforms for the entire team this weekend to commemorate this historical event.
