In a race filled with nothing but ups Jeremy Clements showed the NASCAR Universe he was here and that he meant business. The past two weeks have been nothing but bad luck for the Spartanburg, SC native finishing 25th at Watkins Glen and a 34th at Mid-Ohio. I have a feeling Jeremy was ready to leave the right turns behind him and move back to ovals and it certainly showed this weekend at Bristol.
Clements started 12th and worked his way up to 3rd by the 15th lap. Jeremy didn't fall outside of the Top-12 all night long. At lap 285, with 23 laps to go, Jeremy Clements sat in the Top 10. Jeremy worked passed lead lap and lapped down cars where when the checkered flag fell, Jeremy passed the line in the 6th position. His 10th career Top-10 and 2nd of 2016. (Koelle,2016)
