In his return to Iowa and NASCAR Xfinity Series Racing, Sam Hornish Jr. took the victory today. Sam Hornish Jr. dominated en route to his 2nd victory at Iowa. Ty Dillon held on and was able to finish in the 2nd spot, Brad Keselowski finished 3rd. Daniel Suarez, Alex Bowman, Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier, Brennan Poole, Darrell Wallace Jr., and Ben Kennedy rounded out the Top 10.
Sam Hornish Jr. and Daniel Suarez really had the fastest cars in the field and was able to have great stops all throughout the race. Erik Jones was having fuel pump issues but a change helped that situation and Erik Jones was still able to finish 27th. Sam Hornish Jr. led 183 laps in the race.

Next Race for the NASCAR Xfinity Series
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will take the week off next weekend as the Sprint Cup Series heads to Sonoma and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series head to Gateway. When the NASCAR Xfinity Series takes to the track in 2 weeks it will be the halfway point of the 2016 Season and things will begin to heat up even more. The defending winner of the Subway Firecracker 250 is Austin Dillon. Chase Elliott won the race in Daytona in February.
