McDowell Looks to Continue Improvement at Talladega

A track that the Glendale, AZ native finds slight success in is at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega Alabama. McDowell holds his best qualifying effort when he qualified 6th in the October of 2014. McDowell has raced well here and worked with some of NASCAR's most popular drivers like Dale Earnhardt Jr,, Brad Keselowski, along with a few others who would eventually take the victory or come really close.
McDowell strives at Superspeedways in fact McDowell finished his career best at Daytona in 2014 where he finished 7th, Earlier this season McDowell raced the #59 Chevrolet SS to a 15th place finish in the 58th Daytona 500. McDowell does not have to worry about past experiences happening again as McDowell missed the 2015 Geico 500 after not qualifying fast. McDowell would then return in October and qualify his way into the Race.
His first race at the Talladega Superspeedway driving a Chevrolet could be the one that strikes a victory. McDowell of course is driving for Circle Sport - Leavine Family Racing. The Circle Sport part of the equation has had success at Talladega with Brian Scott gaining his first career pole in the May of 2014. A threat for the victory is surely McDowell and he could shock the world. I believe he can. (Koelle,2016)
