Jeremy Clements - The Cream Always Rises to The Top (Xfinity Series Driver Spotlight)

When it comes to great drivers in the Xfinity Series you have names like Elliott, Buescher, Wallace, Smith and others but a name you don't commonly hear on a weekend is Clements. That's Jeremy Clements. He drives the #51 Chevrolet Camaro for his own team of Jeremy Clements Racing.

Jeremy Clements drives full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a car that is normally just a plain black race car. The way Jeremy drives week in and week out makes me wonder why he doesn't have sponsors. His car is commonly
found being talked about and put on TV.
So far in 2015 Jeremy Clements has had one Top 10 at Dover while completing 28 of 30 races.

At the season opener in Daytona Jeremy Qualified 23rd and worked his way up to a 14th place finish. From Daytona to Dover Jeremy never finished outside the Top 25 which for a team of his caliber and the amount of sponsorship he doesnt have does better than some from teams like Jr Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing and other High Caliber Teams and Drivers.
From Chicago to Kansas Jeremy has finished inside of the top 20 11 out of the 17 races with only one DNF at Richmond where he was involved in a crash. Jeremy continues to do so well with the little he has. As I heard earlier this year from one of my friends who works in the NASCAR Xfinity Series that Jeremy should be titled the King of The Underfunded Drivers by how well he goes out and races in the little funded cars he drives and continues to impress.
So far in 2015 Jeremy has an Average start of 21.7 while his average finish is 19.4 which is his best Average Finish of his 10 year career and it has only gotten better. Look for Jeremy to be up front in the near future if not in victory lane. (Koelle, 2015)
