Way Back Wednesday - 2006 UAW-Ford 500 at Talladega Superspeedway

In 2006 The NASCAR Nextel Cup Series ran at Talladega Superspeedway. This was the last Talladega Race covered by NBC until 2015 so I figured we'd go back!
On the last lap Jimmie Johnson would make the move on Dale Earnhardt Jr. and go for the win, the problem was that Brian Vickers went with Jimmie a little to late hooking Jimmie and sending him into leader Dale Earnhardt Jr spinning both Dale and Jimmie around. Brian Vickers would be the leader when the caution flag flew and he would win his first career Race. I imagine that we might see this this Sunday once again. If you get Dale Earnhardt Jr and Matt Kenseth running for the lead on the last lap one is going to have to wreck the other.
