Elliott Sadler and Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced that Elliott would be driving for JR Motorsports in 2016. Longtime Sadler sponsor One Main Financial will be following Sadler to JR Motosports in 2016. The Xfinity Series veteran has made at least one Series start in 18 seasons, recording 10 wins, 66 top fives, 144 top 10s and 16 poles. Sadler finished second in the championship standings in 2011 and 2012, and currently sits sixth in the points headed into this weekend's race at Dover International Speedway. Sadler has spent this season with Roush Fenway Racing. This marks the fifth team Sadler has joined since the 2011 season, when he competed for Kevin Harvick Inc. His journey has taken him from Kevin Harvick Inc. to Richard Childress Racing (2012), Joe Gibbs Racing (2013-2014), Roush Fenway and now JR Motorsports. I predict Elliott will be taking over another Elliotts ride. Chase Elliott that is. I predict to see Elliott Sadler driving the #9 One Main Financial Chevrolet Camaro. (Koelle, 2015)
