Jesse Iwuji Set to Return to Truck Series at Las Vegas; Welcomes New Sponsor to Series

Jesse Iwuji will make his third NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start next Friday Night (March 1) with Reaume Brothers Racing. Iwuji made his NGOTS debut last season with RBR at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park where he finished 25th. With his return, Iwuji welcomes a new sponsor.

“I have a new partnership this race with FUELTRAX and this one’s special to me. FUELTRAX is a US company that has pioneered and led the industry in marine fuel management systems which speaks my mariner language. And to top it off, over 50 percent of their operations based out of my native country, Nigeria.” said LT Iwuji in the release.

FUELTRAX is the leading universal fuel management solution for offshore marine vessels. It's compatible with any class, engine, or fuel type and available around the world.

“FUELTRAX is such an authentic fit. High performance and advance technology go hand and hand with NASCAR,” added Matt Casto, LT Iwuji’s agent. “And since LT Iwuji’s family is from Nigeria, he has a strong connection with the same community FUELTRAX serves. To make things even better, LT Iwuji has a deep understanding of vessels as a current Surface Warfare Officer. Let me also just continue to mention how exciting it is to have a current driver racing at the national levels that has served our country. We’ve been getting great support from the most patriotic fan base in all sports leagues.”

Iwuji will look to earn another strong finish on Friday Night. His career-best finish came in his debut at CTMP of 25th and in his second start at ISM Raceway, he earned a respectable 27th place finish. Iwuji is working on working his way up the ranks in the Series and it will continue Friday Night as he makes his third career start. (Koelle,2019)
