Navy Lieutenant Jesse Iwuji set for second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at ISM Raceway

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL - US Naval Academy graduate and US Navy officer LT Jesse Iwuji will be a bit different than any driver in the field of this week’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race. Lt. Jesse Iwuji, Naval Academy Alumni & current Surface Warfare officer in the Navy, will be the only military member racing in NASCAR this Veterans Day weekend at ISM Raceway in the #63 truck for DJ Copp partnered with Reaume Bros Racing owned by Josh Reaume.

“For all of my service members who have come before me, are here now, or will come after me, this one’s for you” said Lt. Iwuji.

“With this being my 2nd start in Trucks, my goal is to go out there and to continue to learn from a field of some highly skilled drivers, stay in my lane, and be there at the end of the race to finish.”

Lt. Iwuji has been on a great streak partnering with veteran owned businesses and is very proud to partner with Zulu Audio, Principal Jets, Cybersight, The Sports Agency, North Star Contractors, JBJE Transportation, Veteran Enhanced Technology Solutions, Amerit and The Red List Group for this National Series level race in NASCAR.

Veteran Enhanced Technology Solutions and Amerit are also both veteran owned businesses that are providing great solutions.

"I am always very honored to represent companies that take pride in supporting our military. As I’ve mentioned before, the founder of Zulu Audio is a US Naval Academy Alumni which had me excited and made this sponsorship so much more authentic because it was Academy brethren supporting Academy brethren.”

For their part, Zulu Audio couldn’t be prouder to be teaming up with Lt. Iwuji. Ari Polivy, co-founder/inventor & Active Duty US Marine, said, “Zulu Audio is a veteran-owned technology company focused on developing unique solutions to everyday problems and is thrilled to welcome fellow veteran and NASCAR driver Jesse Iwuji to our team”.

“Principal Jets founder Charles Robertson has been a great addition to the team and with his new charter jet service company on the rise, this was an awesome time to begin getting his name out there to the masses." Iwuji said.

“As a Veteran-Owned company, we are excited to partner with the race team of Lt. Jesse Iwuji due to Jesse’s commitment to our Nation’s Defense, his exemplary character and the work ethic he has shown by doing what takes to live his dream of becoming a NASCAR Driver. At Principal Jets, we’ve also come from humble beginnings, but we’re committed to doing things right on behalf of our aircraft charter clients, our community, and our nation whenever there’s an opportunity to be of service.” said US Air Force and Air National Guard Vet Charles Robertson, President & CEO of Principal Jets

“Cybersight‘s services are great for all companies with sensitive data stored on computers; something they will need to all use. Their cyber security technology is unmatched, and their owners are some of the best people I know. I couldn’t be prouder of what they have built!” Iwuji says.

“With veterans’ day upon us Cybersight is honored to be part of Naval Officer Lieutenant Jesse Iwuji's NASCAR truck oval debut at Phoenix. Good luck Jesse!” said Cybersight exec Tim Adolphson.

“I recent met Jerry Lowenstein of North Star Contractors and have helped guide his family with their daughter’s choice of college. She wants to be a Midshipman of the US Naval Academy which is great! I’m so grateful to Jerry, Susan, Hannah and family for coming onboard as a sponsor also this race!” Said Iwuji when asked about North Star Contractors.

“We want to thank Jesse for the interest he’s shown our family especially helping out daughter who is aspiring to attend the Naval Academy. Not to mention she loves to go to the track with us and run our cars. Jesse is an inspiration to all of us. We thank him for all he does to make our country a better safer place.” said the Owner of North Star Contractors Jerry Lowenstein.

“Veteran Enhanced Technology Solutions have also hopped onboard for this race to make it happen and excited to see where things go! This veteran owned company has grown in the IT space and is doing phenomenal; to be expected!” Said Iwuji about Veteran ETS.

Matt Casto, President of The Sports Agency, is also excited for the journey ahead. “I could not be more thankful for all our brand partners this year both on and off the track. Jesse Iwuji is the real deal and there is not one partner that has told me they have not got more in value than they paid to partner. Everyone has been a winner! Let me also mention how exciting it is to have a current driver racing this Veterans Day weekend that has served our country!”
