Fr8Auctions Set to Become Entitlement Sponsor of Talladega Truck Series Elimination Race

Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series elimination race at the Talladega Superspeedway will now be known as the Fr8Auctions 250. The Atlanta, Georgia based company that brings tons of different things to its auction block.

“Talladega Superspeedway has provided Fr8Auctions the best return on investment in track marketing with the Fr8Auctions Qualifying sponsorship in the spring,” said Fr8Auctions founder and owner Marcus Barela in the track release.“We are thrilled to partner again with Talladega for the Fr8Auctions 250!”

As noted, Fr8Auctions sponsored qualifying for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500 in the spring. The organization has also sponsored drivers like David Ragan and Brett Moffitt in the past. They picked up the victory as a primary sponsor in the summer Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway with Moffitt.

Since debuting in 2006, the NCWTS race at Talladega Superspeedway has had four different entitlement sponsors. In 2006 it was known as the John Deere 250, won by Mark Martin. From 2007-2010 the race was known as the Mountain Dew 250 which featured two drivers winning those four races (Todd Bodine and Kyle Busch). The race was known as the Coca-Cola 250 Powered by Fred's won by Mike Wallace. Four different drivers took the trophy in the Fred's 250 from 2012 to 2017 with Timothy Peters and Parker Kligerman picking up two victories.

Qualifying for one of the most exciting races of the season takes place on Friday, October 12th at 5:35 p.m. ET. The Fr8Auctions 250 kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
