Clay Greenfield Will Look to Follow Strong Daytona Performance in Talladega

Clarksville, TN native Clay Greenfield will look to make his sixth start of the 2018 season on Saturday piloting the No. 68 AMVETS Please Stand Chevrolet Silverado. Greenfield put on a strong performance at Daytona earlier this year earning his best career start of third. Greenfield posted a strong run during that race but was involved in an accident mid-race relegating him to a 22nd place finish.

Greenfield has had two straight strong restrictor-plate performances that kicked off with his best career finish of eighth last season at Talladega. During that race, Greenfield led his first career lap in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Three of his five best career finishes have come at Talladega with an eighth last season, 13th in 2013, and 16th in 2012. He has five starts at the Talladega Superspeedway with an average start of 21st and an average finish of 17th.

Greenfield has proved the last two races that he can be quite the Superspeedway driver. Expect to see Greenfield running up front on Saturday as he did last fall. (Koelle,2018)
