Justin Allgaier Passes Austin Cindric Late to Win at Mid-Ohio

It was a wild 75 laps for Justin Allgaier but in the end, Allgaier made a statement that he's going to be the guy who headlines our pieces about XFINITY Series championship favorites. Allgaier survived running through the grass and spinning early in the race to pass Austin Cindric with three laps remaining.

Cindric had put an absolute whopping on the field leading 59 of the 75 laps but when it came down to the end, Cindric couldn't lead the laps that mattered. Despite not earning the victory, Cindric still earned his career-best finish of second.

Daniel Hemric finished in second while Matt Tifft and Ryan Truex rounded out the top-five. Truex earns his first top-five finish since 2012 and Kaulig Racing's best career finish. All three drivers are sitting pretty as we head to Bristol with five races remaining before the cut-off.
