It all came down to Team Penske driver vs. Team Penske driver at the end of Saturday's (August 4th) Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen. Joey Logano made a daring move to make it three wide in turn one to take the lead from his Brad Keselowski. Keselowski would track down Logano but in turn one, Keselowski overdid it and spun ultimately handing the victory over to Logano.
AJ Allmendinger finished the race in second while Justin Allgaier, Ryan Preece, and Aric Almirola rounded out the top-five. Keselowski would finish tenth.
Rain intervened during the second stage meaning the rain tires came on. Keselowski was the first driver to put the racing slicks back on which gave him the track position and the chance to take the victory but as noted, Keselowski spun in turn one while pursuing the No. 22.
