Clay Greenfield Posts Strong Top-20 Finish at Bristol

The Clarksville, TN native put on s strong performance on Thursday night in the UNOH 200. His fifth start at the Bristol Motor Speedway resulted in his second-best finish at the "World's Fastest Half-Mile". Greenfield earned a 20th place finish after qualifying in 21st. His best finish at Bristol came in his Bristol debut in 2010.

This season, Greenfield has been able to do multiple great things with his little team who doesn't show up every weekend. The organization only backed out of one race this season and that was Charlotte where qualifying was canceled due to rain. Otherwise, Greenfield has been able to run up with other drivers who have huge budgets. Earlier this year, Greenfield earned his career-best start of third at Daytona and last October, Greenfield earned his career best finish of eighth at Talladega.

Greenfield has become one of those underdogs who is one you can't look past anywhere. (Koelle,2018)
