Kurt Busch Earns Stewart Haas Racing's 40th Career Pole

Kurt Busch posted a fast lap during the final round of knockout qualifying in New Hampshire to earn his 25th career pole in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. His 25th pole position results in Stewart Haas Racing's 40th pole since its inception in 2009.

Martin Truex Jr. qualified second, his seventh front row start of 2018 and fourth front row start at New Hampshire in his 25th attempt.

Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin qualified third and fourth while Ryan Blaney rounded out the top-five speeds.
