Bump and Run Propels Kevin Harvick to Sixth Victory of 2018

With less than 10 laps remaining, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch were battling for the lead. Harvick had the faster car and eventually, the No. 4 Busch Beer Ford Fusion pushed the No. 18 out of the way and earning his 49th career victory in the MENCS.

After getting bumped out of the way, Busch kept it inside the picture should the caution come out late ... it never did. Busch managed to finish the race in second, his fourth second-place finish of the season.

Martin Truex Jr. finished the race in third while Aric Almirola and Chase Elliott rounded out the top five.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads south to the Pocono's for the Gander Outdoors 400 next Sunday. Kyle Busch is the defending race winner, last season Busch and Harvick battled for the victory with Busch coming out on top. Harvick has the chance to inch closer to history and closer to Busch in the record books as Pocono is one of two tracks that Harvick has never won at. (Koelle,2018)
