Larson will pilot the No. 42 Credit One Bank Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this weekend as he seeks his fourth straight victory at Michigan. The last driver to earn a victory in the MENCS was Joey Logano, he won this event in 2016. Logano will pilot the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion.
Timmy Hill and MBM Motorsports return this weekend where Hill will pilot the No. 66 Toyota Camry. DJ Kennington will also make his return to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series this weekend piloting the No. 7 entry for Premium Motorsports.
Garrett Smithley will make his debut behind the wheel of StarCom Racing's No. 99. In 78 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts, Smithley has a best finish of fifth earlier this year at Daytona. Smithley currently drives the No. 0 entry for JD Motorsports.
