Chase Elliott Seeks to Leave Chicago with Trophy

Chase Elliott heads to the Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday for the Overton's 400. It'll be his third start at Chicagoland and in those two previous starts, Elliott has shown he'll definitely be someone to threat the "Big Four" on Sunday.

Elliott is on a "Mission from God" as they put it in the Blues Brothers movie. In two previous starts, Elliott has a third and second place finish. Should everything fall together perfectly, Elliott will definitely add an impressive finish to that stats list, if not a victory.

His crew chief, Alan Gustafson, has had a good chunk of success at the Chicagoland Speedway. He has one career victory at Chicago in 2009 with Mark Martin. That victory was one of two times that Hendrick Motorsports won at Chicago and on Sunday, Elliott could deliver Mr. H his 250th career victory in the Cup Series as a team owner.

Elliott is coming off a fourth-place finish last weekend at Sonoma. He's finished inside the top-10 five out of the last eight races this season and looks to cap it off with a victory. Definitely put Elliott on your list for "Must Watch" for Sunday's race from Chicago. (Koelle,2018)
