Chandler Smith Secures First Career Victory at Madison

Chandler Smith finally capped off his impressive Rookie season with a victory in the Herr's 200 at Madison. Smith swept the entire day in Madison leading practice, earning his fourth straight pole, and ultimately securing the victory. Smith sailed to his first career victory by over 11-seconds over Zane Smith.

"We just had a little luck on our side," Smith said. "I am really blessed with the group of guys I have behind me. Venturini Motorsports gave me a heck of a Toyota Camry tonight. That was the first time I ever got sprayed by potato chips in victory lane. Pretty wild!"

Michigan winner and current points leader Sheldon Creed finished the race in third while Chase Purdy and Gus Dean rounded out the top-five.
