Kyle Busch Secures Second Pole of 2018

Kyle Busch Secured his second pole of 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. Busch earned his first Busch Pole Award in 2018 (Atlanta pole wasn't a Busch Pole Award) with a 14.895-second (128.822 mph.) lap around the Bristol Motor Speedway. His brother Kurt Busch just missed the pole by .002 seconds and will start the race in Second.

2012 Food City 500 winner Brad Keselowski qualified third followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ryan Blaney. Kyle Larson and Paul Menard qualified sixth and seventh followed by Alex Bowman, Michael McDowell, and Joey Logano.

Kevin Harvick had to go to a backup car following a crash in practice. He didn't turn a lap in the session being as he was going to have to start from the rear of the field anyway. Kurt Busch was slated to start second but after a crash in practice on Saturday will have to start the race from the rear of the field.
