Josh Berry to Make ARCA Debut at Salem

Josh Berry will make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut at Salem this upcoming weekend where he will pilot the No. 22 BigTine Ford Fusion for Chad Bryant Racing. The Hendersonville, Tennessee native currently drives a late model for JR Motorsports.

“It’s an interesting place,” said Berry in the ARCA release. “It’s wild, definitely a challenge and will be a tough place to race. Tire management is going to be key there, and that might benefit me in that I do that every week in my Late Model with the CARS Tour. It’s a great opportunity for me to try the ARCA Racing Series, which has always been very competitive. I’m looking forward to the weekend with Chad and the rest of the CBR team.”

Despite making his first start in the ARCA Racing Series, Berry has made a total of eight starts in NASCAR top three tiers. He has the best finish of seventh in the XFINITY Series at Richmond in 2015 and the best finish of 13th at Chicago in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2016.

“Josh brings a ton of experience to our team this weekend, and has an excellent chance to do very well," said Bryant. "I’ve known Josh for quite some time and am glad to finally have the opportunity to put him one of our cars with a sponsor that has meant a lot to our team in Big Tine. I can’t wait for the green flag on Sunday.”

Berry will join Joe Graf Jr. at Chad Bryant Racing this weekend. Graf made his ARCA Racing Series debut two weeks ago at Nashville where he finished 16th. Tyler Dippel piloted the No. 22 at Nashville where he finished sixth. (Koelle,2018)
