The Fan Handout - 2018 STP 500 Weekend Edition

For the first time in 2018, NASCAR lays out its shorter weekend schedule with two days of action at the Martinsville Speedway. This was done a few times last season for multiple reasons and one big look is that you'll get more bang for your buck as a race fan at the track. This weekend both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series takes to the track.

Will you be making the trek to Martinsville, Virginia this weekend? Well, be sure you read The Motorsports News Source "The Fan Handout" where you can find the track schedule for the weekend, weather forecasts, and driver appearances. You will also find a link to buy tickets, parking and other fan experiences. The Motorsports News Source can be read from your smartphone so save the page and have it with you all weekend long! Weather Forecast for March 22nd - March 23rd (per Weather Channel)

The weather forecast for Martinsville has changed a few times over the past week. Earlier this week, snow was in the forecast and snow was even on the ground but as of right now, it looks like snow will not be a factor. There is a 100% chance of rain tomorrow (March 24th) while on Sunday there is only a 10% chance. Along with the concerns of rain, there is a local pollen alert. I would be sure to pack a jacket and take some allergy medicine before you head to the track (if you have allergies).
  • Saturday, March 24th - PM Rain - 42*/32* - 100% chance of rain
  • Sunday, March 25th - Cloudy - 43*/26* - 10%
