Landon Cassill Lands Two Race Deal with StarCom Racing

Landon Cassill will return to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. StarCom Racing announced on Monday afternoon the the Cedar Rapids, Iowa native would pilot the No. 00 United States First Responders Association Chevrolet Camaro beginning this weekend in the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Cassill will also pilot the entry in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway following the Easter break.

"We are excited to announce we will head to Martinsville and Texas with Landon Cassill piloting the No. 00 United States First Responders Association Chevrolet Camaro." StarCom Racing posted on Twitter.

Cassill has spent the last two seasons at Front Row Motorsports but following the 2017 season, the two drivers went separate ways leaving Cassill without a ride. Cassill will make his 260th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start on Sunday in the STP 500. In 259 starts, Cassill has a best finish of fourth at Talladega in 2014. His best career start of third came at Daytona in 2014. (Koelle,2018)
