For the second straight race, Kevin Harvick straight up dominated the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas en-route to his second victory of the 2018 season. Harvick took the lead from Ryan Blaney on the second lap and seemed to never look back only surrendering the lead for a few green flag pit stops. Kyle Busch formed a run in the final stages of the race but he ran out of time and had to settle for second.
Saturday's winner Kyle Larson finished third followed by Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Blaney.
The race was only slowed by caution four times. Two cautions were for accidents on track with the first one being Jamie McMurray plowing the outside wall on the exit of turn two. The second accident involved Kurt Busch and Chase Elliott at the exit of turn four. All three drivers went behind the wall, ending their afternoon.
