Hometown Victory for Kyle Busch at Las Vegas

Despite not the normal domination from Kyle Busch, the Las Vegas, Nevada native was able to secure his first victory in his hometown in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Busch had to hold off a late charge from both Johnny Sauter and Brett Moffitt to secure his 50th career victory, The victory puts him just one shy of tying Ron Hornaday Jr. for the most in the NCWTS.

Johnny Sauter finished second in the race after having one if not the fastest truck during a majority of the race. Brett Moffitt was leading but when he made contact with a lapped car, he'd still finish third though as a late race caution would save his night. After the contact with the lapped car, Busch took the lead. He didn't run away with the victory just yet, as with less than 15 laps to go, the caution came out. On the final restart of the night, Busch rocketed away and never looked back blocking the runs from both Sauter and Moffitt.

Grant Enfinger and Stewart Friesen rounded out the top five. Friesen won stage two while Hometown driver Noah Gragson, who finished 12th, won the first stage of the night.

The race was slowed by caution a total of five times for 25 laps. There were 14 lead changes amongst 7 drivers during the event with Kyle Busch leading the most at 55.
