Christopher Bell Fastest in First Practice

Christopher Bell was fastest in the opening practice session at ISM Raceway on Friday. Bell turned a 26.892-second lap around the ISM Raceway to top the speed charts. Bell has won the last two pole positions in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (Atlanta & Las Vegas). Former team owner and Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch finished the session second followed by Justin Allgaier, Brad Keselowski, and Cole Custer. 

Seven drivers turned 10 consecutive laps in the session with Brad Keselowski having the best 10-lap average. Jamie McMurray, in his return to the XFINITY Series, had the second-best 10-lap average followed by Spencer Gallagher, Tyler Reddick, and Michael Annett.

Cole Custer Paces Final Practice 

Cole Custer went from fifth in first practice to the top of the speed charts during final practice on Friday afternoon. Custer turned a 27.393-second lap to put his No. 00 Haas Automation Ford Mustang on the top of the board. Kyle Busch again finished second, this time turning the fastest lap late in the session while running a long run. Brad Keselowski finished third followed by Daniel Hemric and Justin Allgaier. 

Brad Keselowski again led the 10-lap consecutive average chart but this time of 19 other drivers. Custer, who was fastest in overall practice, finished second on the 10-consecutive lap average followed by Justin Allgaier, Jamie McMurray, and Kyle Busch.
