Austin Dillon and Joey Logano are the only two Cup regulars entered in the event along with being the only drivers to have won the California 300 in the past.
Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, Kaz Grala, and John Hunter Nemechek are all graduates of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series who have never raced at Auto Club Speedway. The NCWTS hasn't raced at Auto Club Speedway since 2009 which leaves these four drivers seeing the track for the first time. 2017 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion Alex Labbe will also make his Auto Club debut this weekend.
