Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Practice Report: Advanced Auto Parts Clash

Ryan Blaney was fastest in the sole practice for tomorrows Advanced Auto Parts Clash. The new Team Penske driver wasted no time moving from the Wood Bros. Racing by turning the fastest lap in final practice. Blaney turned a 45.090-second lap around the Daytona International Speedway.

Fords filled the first four positions with Blaney's Team Penske teammate Joey Logano finishing second. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Brad Keselowski finishing third and fourth, while Kyle Larson continued the momentum from the end of 2017 rounding out the top-five.

A 1.444-second differential split the fastest (Ryan Blaney) and the slowest (Austin Dillon) on the speed charts.
